Million Trees Napa strives to improve forest health and increase community tree canopy and associated societal and climate benefits in rural and urban areas. We equip community members with the knowledge to plant and care for trees, and conduct planting and maintenance events.
By providing environmental education, Million Trees Napa aims to inspire sustained action and a culture shift regarding our relationship with our forests. This includes nature-based learning for youth, workshops and other events, and informational resources.
Million Trees Napa takes a science-based approach to tree planting, stewarding, and community engagement. We believe in tracking outcomes to ensure measurable and lasting benefits. We also believe in experimenting with new approaches that can scale beyond Napa County.
